First Stop: NYC

My first stop was a quick evening in New York City.  My childhood friend Lewis took me to one of his favorite spots, Cosme.  Cosme is run by the protege of Enrique Olvera.  Olvera was featured in an episode of Netflix's Chef's Table.

Lewis and I caught up over fine wine and elegant small plates.  Lewis' knowledge made for an excellent meal.  (He is a wine expert at Le Du's Wines in NYC's West Village.) He promised :) to hook me up with connections as I move through Europe.
